Sloan Hayes

Hayes has played in numerous national and local touring acts. Hayes was one of the keyboardists in Starbuck (Moonlight Feels Right) and was also in other popular bands such as Brother Bait and Reel People. Hayes has appearred on countless recording by many local and national artists. He has also worked as a composer and producer on many projects.

Ward Abel

Abel first began playing in the Atlanta band Jacob Rye. This band also included Steve Rawls. Abel had stints with Preface (releasing two singles in the UK) and Max Able (releasing Somebody Spent Their Whole Life There and Culture By Force). In the mid-90’s he and Rawls re-joined forces as Abel & Rawls. The duo released Two Months in 1997 and As We Wake From Our Sleep in 2001. Abel is a published poet. Visit his poetry pages. Steve Rawls

Rawls also began in Atlanta’s Jacob Rye. About the time Rawls re-teamed with Abel in the mid-90’s he also became a co-owner of Atlanta’s Real 2 Reel Studios. Through that connection Abel & Rawls met Sloan Hayes and many of the other musicians they would eventually have the pleasure of working with. Rawls has produced numerous audio and live concert DVD productions. Rawls serves as an advisor in The Organization of Christian Musicians.
